Professional Background: Robsham was a prominent real estate developer and philanthropist. At the time he passed away, he was the retired president and chairman of the board of Robsham Industries, Inc., a real estate development firm based iamingham, Mass., that developed and constructed residential and commercial properties in Massachusetts as well as custom home communities in the upscale Boston suburbs ... Paul and Joyce Robsham were the benefactors of the Robsham Theater Arts Center at Boston College. The center was dedicated in 1985 in honor of their son, E. Paul Robsham Jr., who died in an automobile accident in the summer of 1983 following his freshman year at Boston College ... In 2002, he donated $50,000 to estabblish an endowment for Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program. He was instrumental in the initial organization of the program ... Active in the Boy Scouts of America, he was named "Man of the Year" from the Algonquin Council in 1980 ... Robsham was the recipient of many professional awards and received many honors from religious and civic organizations for his considerable contributions to the community ... His military career included service as a company commander while an officer in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and he attained the rank of brigadier general in the Massachusetts National Guard
Racing Background: In 1983, the Robshams became involved in racing and breeding Thoroughbreds and achieved considerable success
Breeding/Racing Operation: Paul Robsham bred and raced 1995 Alabama Stakes winner Pretty Discreet, the dam of Discreet Cat ... Discreet Cat is a half-brother to Pretty Wild, a foal of 2000, who won or placed in 16 of 18 races ... Other stakenners he raced include Trust N Luck, who won the 2003 Fountain of Youth at Gulfstream and finished second in the Florida Derby, plus Ruby Hill, winner of the Bertram F. Bongard in 1997 ... After he died in 2004, Joyce maintained the stable and they race under the banner E.Paul Robsham Racing LLC ... Stanley Hough trained for the Robshams earlier in his career before taking a private job. In 2001, Paul asked Hough to take over training his 25 horses, and Joyce has kept her horses with him since Paul's death ... Joyce sold Discreet Cat privately to Godolphin Stable for an undisclosed price in 2005 after the colt easily won a maiden race at Saratoga on Travers day. Hough, who trained the colt, told Daily Racing Form after the saale that although he was very high on the horse, it made good business sense for Mrs. Robsham to sell. "He's a lot of horse," Hough said. "It was a fair offer, one that was very hard to turn down. In my opinion, he was well worth it." ... Despite all of the Robshams' success racing and breeding horses over the years, the Robshams have never had a Breeders' Cup starter ... In 2007, Trippi's Storm, bred by Robsham and raced by E.Paul Robsham Racing, finished sixth in the Mile.

As near as we can tell. We have Einar's christening certificate in Norwegian, listing the names above. I will try and get a photo of it for you.
Charles & Esther settled in Boston area, and had a hotel / boarding house in Provincetown, Massachusetts in the early 1900's. Our family remains in the Cape Cod, Massachusetts region of the USA.
