Christopher Robsham
1953 - 2001
MONROE--Christopher Buck Robsham, 48, of Monroe, passed away peacefully Aug. 12, 2001, surrounded by his loving family and good friends.
Chris was born June 28, 1953 in Hyannis, MA, the son of Leonard and Louise (Buck) Robsham.
He lived most of his life in Yarmouth, MA and graduated from high school there in 1972.
He was a fisherman and loved the sea. Before his health began to fail, he owned and operated "Fancy Fish Company" in Hyannis, MA.
Chris and his family fell in love with the north country of New Hampshire and settled in Monroe in 1987. It was there he developed his passion for Blue Grass music and he played and listened whenever he could.
Chris was predeceased by his parents; and one brother, William Robsham.
He is survived by his son, William Barr Robsham II of Monroe; two sisters and their husbands, Lisa and Don Thimas of Bourne, MA and Tina and Bill Pratt of North Yarmouth, ME; his brother, Dan Robsham of Aventura, FL; and several aunts and uncles. He is also survived by his lifelong friends, Tony Brum of Mashpee, MA and Victor Brum of Phoenix, AZ; and his companion, Susan Aiken of St. Johnsbury.
A memorial gathering was held in Bourne, MA on Aug. 15. Chris' friends plan a gathering in Monroe in the near future.

Founded fish company
leaves family, friends on CapeMONROE, N.H. - , of Monroe, N.H., died Sunday in Cape Cod Hospital of congestive heart failure. He was one of the oldest survivors of the congenital heart defect commonly known as "blue baby."
Mr. Robsham was born in Hyannis, Mass., and lived in West Yarmouth, Mass., for 30 years.
Mr. Robsham was a graduate of Dennis-Yarmouth High School, and attended Cape Cod Community College. He worked many years in his father's Hyannis business, Delta Marine, and founded his own wholesale fish company, Fancy Fish. He lived for the past 14 years in New Hampshire.
He enjoyed bluegrass music.
He leaves a son, William B. Robsham II of Monroe, N.H. two sisters, Christine Pratt of North Yarmouth, Maine., and Lisa M. Thimas of Bourne, Mass. a brother, Daniel L. Robsham II of Aventura, Fla. two aunts two uncles and several close friends, among them Tony Brum of Mashpee, Mass.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. Burial is private. Another memorial will be held later in New Hampshire.
