Full Obituary: Robichaud, Virginia L. "ginny" (Kettner) Robichaud, Virginia L. "ginny" (Kettner) , 86, of West Yarmouth died following a short illness on November 15, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Gerhard Robichaud for 60 years. Virginia was born in New Rochelle, NY, raised in Scarsdale, NY and moved to Cape Cod in 1950. Ginny and Gerry settled in West Yarmouth in 1951. After her husband founded Robies Refrigeration in 1959, Ginny helped with many aspects of the business while she raised their five children. She continued to contribute and visit with the staff at Robies well into her 80s. Ginny was a good friend and confidant to those who sought her advice and support. She will be missed by many. Summers boating in Lewis Bay and winters skiing and relaxing in Jackson, NH held fond memories for Ginny and her family. Ginny thoroughly enjoyed sharing time with her grandchildren, loved riding her bike, the serenity of the local beaches, and her two cats, Jack and Jill. Mrs. Robichaud is survived by three sons, John and his wife Joanne of Barnstable, Barry of West Yarmouth, and James and his wife Colleen of West Barnstable; two daughters, Patricia Evans of West Yarmouth and Juditth Olsen of Lummi Island, Washington; 12 grandchildren, Theresa (Robichaud) and her husband Darryl Tamash, Michael and his wife Rawipa, Stephen, Thomas, Betsy, Emily, Jessy, and Nelly Robichaud, Justin and Derek Evans, and Nathan and Britta Olsen and three great-grandchildren, Lyla and Alynn Tamash, and Lianah Robichaud. Ginny is also survived by her two sisters, Bettie Brophy of Hyannis and Joan Watson of Brookhaven, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, Florence (Henrich) and William Kettner and a great-granddaughter, Leah Tamash. The family is very appreciative of the loving support of Ginnys friend and caregiver, Cindy Hinckley. Visitation and service information to be announced at a later date.
